| May 14 | Solon Comets 8th Grade Football There will be a meeting for all 7th graders who are interested in playing 8th grade football next season held TODAY in room 217 after school. The meeting will end by 4:10- have rides ready for pick-up promptly.

| May 14 | SMS Baseball The baseball team finished their season off last night with a win over West G! It was a true team win with contributions from all players! Sherwin led the team on the mound with 12 strikeouts and only 1 earned run. Kenny Wisniewski led the team with great defense and also scored 2 of the comets 12 runs. At the plate, Charlie Cruickshank led the team with two hits and an RBI. A HUGE shout out and thank you to our team manager Fred Burck. Fred handed lots of behind the scenes work for the comets involving score keeping and stats - thank you Fred!
