Apr 9Future Problem Solving Reminder Attention FPS Teams! Don't forget to meet your team after school today and walk over to Orchard for Part 1 of the State Bowl. Be sure to remind your ride to pick you up at 6:00 tonight at Orchard. Good luck to all teams!
Apr 9Middle School boys Lacrosse The Solon boys lacrosse team opened up the season with a win over Hawken on Friday night with a final score of 7-1. Hugh Nawn opened the season with the first goal and Thor Thordarson, Grant Herman, Carter Chase, and Brandon Vinson, all scored for the Solon offense. Jack Kader and Jack Parsons both had separate coast to coast goals, taking the ball all the way from the defensive end and scoring on the opposing goal. Owen Kormuth, Thor Thordarson and Carter Chase each had an assist. Bentley Carpenter faced 6 shots on goal and recorded 8 saves. Great job from the entire team! The boys lacrosse team looks to take on Stanton MS - Kent on Wednesday at 5pm at Solon MS

Apr 10Eclipse Student Council is recycling the eclipse glass and sending them to Latin America, where children will enjoy the August 2024 eclipse. Please drop your used glasses off in room 206 or the drop box at the main entrance.
Apr 11MS Boys Lacrosse The Solon Boys Lacrosse team played a physical, and muddy, game against Stanton-Kent and came out victorious 6-1; putting them at 2-0 for the season. Carter Chase had 2 goals and 1 assist. Hugh Nawn, Grant Herman, Tejas Pham and Jack Kader each had 1 goal. Owen Kormuth and Thor Thordarson each had an assist. Bentley Carpenter had 4 saves. Great job to the whole team! The Solon MS Boys Lacrosse team is scheduled to play Hawken away on Friday.
