| Dec 19 | Food Drive A big “Thank You” to all the Homerooms that helped support our SMS Food drive. We were able to fill up 4 huge loading carts! “Our Hunger Community Center” appreciated all the generosity of all the greatly needed items from Sampoos to Cans of tuna and all the other amazing donations! The Winning Homerooms are….. Mr. Bubonics and Mrs. Gellot, Congratulations on winning a spot to play against the Faculty in Dodgeball! | | | Dec 20 | Cupcake Wars Results After the 7th and 8th Grade Family & Consumer Science students voted, the results of the biannual Cupcake Wars are in! First place in Best Overall Cupcake goes to Megan and Izzie from Meyer’s first period class for their popcorn bucket cupcake. For Most Creative Cupcake, first place goes to Jaden, Chloe, Lilly and Jazeiah in Markovic’s first period class for their Shrek’s Bathroom cupcake. In the Most Appetizing category, first place goes to Keira, Addie and Julia in Meyer’s first period class for their delicious looking hamburger! And in the final category, Most Interesting, first place goes to Kalyn, Melissa, Eden and Alex in Markovic’s third period class for their Markovic cupcake sprinkled with Mr. Markovic’s face 9 times! Final results…after a three year streak of winning, Markovic has to concede to share a tie with Meyer. Thanks to all of those who participated in and contributed to the Cupcake Wars fun.
